THE CONTRACTOR

Robert Dufort founded Magic Brush in 1976 during the heyday of the Victorian "Painted Ladies" movement. Established in the midst of this period of creativity, Magic Brush soon become known for its meticulous surface preparation, innovative restoration techniques, and attention to detail. 

In the 1980's, Robert expanded the company's range into custom interior painting and wood refinishing. National awards, published articles and seminars were the natural outgrowth of this search for excellence, one that continues today. 

Robert is the principal estimator and is also involved in problem solving and product research. He doesn't mind admitting to that which he does not know.
